Fast and easy transaction with RODG-rent-a-car.
I booked a car with them earlier this month.
BOOKING: I just texted their contact number and gave them the date when I would be needing the car. I was immediately provided with a list of cars that were available on the dates that I provided. To reserve a car, I was asked to make a 30% downpayment of the total cost which included the refundable security deposit. After sending them some details and proof of payment of the deposit via email, the pick-up date/time/location of the car was then finalized. I was asked to have a photocopy of my IDs to be given to the company upon pick-up.
CAR PICK-UP: We had the car delivered at the airport by paying for a small fee. When we landed, Mark (Representative from RODG-rent-a-car) was already waiting for us. After all the scratches of the car were noted and drawn, we paid for our remaining balance, signed some papers and I handed them the photocopy of my IDs.
THE CAR: Aside from the scratches, the car was well-maintained and clean. We did not encounter any car problems the entire time we rented it. The gas was on full tank and we were told to make sure it was also full tank when we return it. So before the car was returned, we made sure to give it back the same quality as it was given to us (clean and full gas tank).
CUSTOMER SERVICE: Topnotch service from Mark (the RODG-rent-a-car representative who delivered and picked-up the car) and Arianne, who handled our booking. She answered all my queries promptly and was very accommodating when we decided to continue renting the car until our last day in Dumaguete.
RETURNING THE CAR: I coordinated with RODG-rent-a-car that I’ll just return the car at the airport. Mark from RODG-rent-a-car, came to pick up the car. He checked the car based on the previous sketches of the scratches before we borrowed the car. After that, the deposit was returned to us.
Overall, I’ll definitely use the services of RODG-rent-a-car whenever I’m in Dumaguete. We didn’t have to worry about looking for a transportation going from one place to another, it was such a convenience.
